Christi 'LynX' Rougoor- 9Lives Video Contest: Ride With Chris Brown

For those of you who don't know her, my friend Christi Rougoor is one helluva, beautiful woman.

I met Christi at a Rick Hansen relay event at Brock University a few years ago. She was only a few months post-injury and was already getting out and trying to find ways to get back to an active lifestyle. While riding in Florida just before Christmas, Christi was putting in some laps around a motocross track when she crashed. In the event, her helmet flew off resulting in not just breaking her back, but every bone in her face in the process.




Christi is now a complete paraplegic but refusing to let any of that stuff stop her. Recently the people at 9Lives Adventures put together a video contest for people living with a disability, to get the chance to spend a day riding the back country of Whistler with pro Slednecks rider Chris Brown! Christi is in the contest, and here's her video.
